With Sosuke Aizen intent on destroying Karakura Town, the Soul Reapers fight to protect the four pillars their head captain had placed in a fake town constructed in the Soul Society as a replacement for the real one. When the Fraccion Poww nearly destroys a pillar, the real Karakura Town begins to slowly return to the World of the Living. If it does fully return, the Soul Reapers will be unable to fight.
