After returning to the world inside the mysterious book The Universe of the Four Gods, Miaka learns that her best friend Yui has joined the enemy, threatening her adopted kingdom as head of the Seiryu Seven. Now Miaka - as head of the Suzuka Seven (which includes her true love Tamahone) - must overcome Yui's betrayal and with the Suzuka Seven's help, fight to protect her friends and this kingdom.
