Moving to Tokyo to escape the strictures of small town life, Kyohei Kuga thinks he's left his past behind. But when he and his female friend Hibino discover a bloody corpse, he soon realizes it's impossible. As in his hometown, Kyohei was a Seki - an individual who can control a Kakashi (an ancient wooden god capable of incredible feats) with his mind. After encountering his younger sister Utao, he learns a Kakashi is apparently in Tokyo, and he may have to stop it and its Seki.
